My Brain on Autopilot

About

Ask questions. It's in our human nature.

What do you do when the person you normally vent to is the person you need to vent about?

Really?

So there’s like this unwritten rule about the first week of class. You know the one where the seat you take is pretty much the one you’ll have for the rest of the semester. But you have to be in class at the same time every day for that week. Cause if you’re not, someone will take that seat that you carefully chose and said (internally) “hey, this is my seat.”

Apparently, my Modern Italy class did not remember the rule. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the last EIGHT weeks I have attempted to come in and sat in my seat that I chose on the first day of class. Problem: There’s either a girl and a guy that pretty much try to take it if I’m not there on time every time. It’s awkward because out of all the seats in the classroom (it’s a big classroom) they choose to take mine.

It’s just perplexing because they see me, they know I sit here, and yet they still try to sit where I do.

EDIT: Apparently my advertising class also does not know the rule of seating. Sweet.

I’m totally going to start submitting things to mylifeisaverage.com.

Brittany:
Will you bring Courtney sweet tea?
Brian:
I don't know I'll have to ask Andy, he's driving.
.....
Brian:
Hold on we're making an important decision...
.....
Brian:
Okay I'm back. We had to decided if we wanted to eat inside or take it to go.
.....
(Continuation of talking...)

Brian:
Is it weird that even though I saw you all weekend that I miss you already?
Brittany:
No. I miss you too!

Je ne regrette rien.

Devoirs de Francaise.

Devoirs de Francaise.

Real feelings have emotions too.

So I though about this for a while and rather than having angsty thoughts about how my life has been crazy lately due to incidents completely out of my control I thought I should have some positive thoughts.

The one thing I’ll be forever greatful for (out of like 50 or so things) is my brothers in APO. I can call someone at midnight or so and ask to come over and just get away from the crazy, they’ll pick me up if I am not capable of driving (Warning: you may find french fries in the back of your car the next day or suffer head trauma from me hitting your head repeatedly), they’ll listen to me whine about work or school or whatever, and they’ll always have something fun to partake in with an invite for me to do the same.

There’s singing trashy songs and synchronized dances, almost deaths, ping pong, dinners (we all share a common love for food), shopping, running the flag before home games (and OU/TX!) driving, movies, passionberri, driving to the Starbucks in Moore, sign language, shout outs, the rides home from class so you don’t have to wait on the forever long shuttle, the bringing of sweet tea from Cane’s when we were (halfway) joking, and lots of efffing PICTURES as proof.

If you don’t believe me just see the pictures posted (eventually and randomly) as proof.
